ENATA invests in new $20 million manufacturing facility

ENATA, builder of the Foiler yacht, is expanding its manufacturing facilities in the UAE with the construction of a new state-of-the-art complex in Abu Dhabi.

This expansion into Abu Dhabi follows ENATA’s partnership with Ajyal Holding which is set to further the company’s growth in the region.

Construction of the facilities on the 100,000sqm plot – complete with 200 metres of waterfront – will begin in summer 2026, with completion scheduled in 2027.

The investment includes US$20 million in machinery, from high-precision robots and gantry systems to micron-accuracy machines as well as metal 3D printing.

The facility will significantly enhance ENATA’s ability to test and manufacture new products, including the Foiler Ghost, a 28-metre private foiling yacht which was unveiled at the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show in 2025 alongside the production of other vessels.

The first vessel is scheduled for launch in 2029.

Innovation and partnerships

Facilities will also include a dry dock and refit capabilities for yachts of up to 60 metres.

“We are very proud to be moving our headquarters to Abu Dhabi,” said Alois Vieujot, CEO of ENATA Group.

“This move will expand our capabilities and capacity and reinforces our commitment to the UAE.”

In addition to the approximately 20,000sqm dedicated to marine production, ENATA’s new facilities will also house engineering and R&D facilities, together with facilities dedicated to composite manufacturing, machinery, aerospace production, automotive production and a guest experience centre.

The facilities will also house an academy as well as a dedicated incubator area.

“We will place strong emphasis on innovation and partnerships through our incubator and academy, which will open within the new site to accelerate growth in the aerospace and marine industries,” concluded Alois.
