Aquavista appoints chief operating officer

UK marina operator Aquavista has appointed Mark Brooke as chief operating officer. He takes up the role on 27 July 2026.

Mark joins Aquavista with a background in the hospitality industry having recently served as CEO of community pub operator Amber Taverns.

Prior to this, he played an instrumental role in building the Proper Pubs division of pub operator Admiral Taverns as MD.

Mark has a wealth of operational experience across pubs, quick service restaurants and retail.

As chief operating officer, Mark will lead the day to day running of Aquavista’s operations across its regions, with a focus on the customer experience, safety, and supporting the teams who run the company’s sites.

Exciting future

“I’m delighted to welcome Mark to Aquavista,” said Steve de Polo, chief executive officer of Aquavista.

“We’ve built real momentum as a business, and the next phase of our growth will ask more of our operation.

“Mark’s experience of scaling multi-site businesses, and his focus on people and service, make him the right person to help us meet that from a position of strength.”

Mark added: “Aquavista is a business with a genuine connection to its customers and its people, and an exciting future ahead.

“I’m looking forward to getting out to the marinas, meeting the teams, and helping the company grow while keeping that connection at its heart.”
