Island Yacht Management & Sales has acquired Bay Shore, New York- based Captain Bill’s Marina.
Island Yacht is one of Long Island’s fastest-growing full-service marine companies offering new and brokerage boat sales, pre-owned boat inventory, marina services, storage, service, and customer support.
The company represents five boat brands – Everglades, Solara, Cutwater, Sailfish, and World Cat and in addition to new boat offerings, also has a selection of pre-owned and brokerage boats.
The company is both Yamaha and Mercury certified.
“This acquisition is more than just a business expansion for us, it’s personal,” said Chet Striplin, owner of Island Yacht Management & Sales.
Investing and improving
“We grew up in this community, we boat these waters ourselves and we understand how important Captain Bill’s Marina is to so many families on the South Shore.
“Our goal is to continue improving the property, investing in the customer experience and creating a marina that the boating community can be proud to call home.”
Captain Bill’s Marina incorporates 140 dock slips, full service and boat repair facilities and a waterfront restaurant.
Recent improvements at the marina include new floating docks, upgraded electrical infrastructure, landscaping enhancements, facility upgrades and expanded customer communication systems designed to modernise operations and improve boaters’ experience.
