Boat insurance company Haven Knox-Johnston has agreed extended terms with its policy underwriter MS Amlin Marine to provide continued support to the Haven Knox-Johnston business.
The renewed agreement covers the next three years and consolidates the two companies’ existing partnership. MS Amlin will continue to act as preferred insurer powering the Haven Knox-Johnston insurance products.
The commitment to the partnership helps maintain continued capacity stability in the boat insurance market and ensures ongoing support for customers.
MS Amlin sold its retail boat insurance book of business to Aston Lark in 2020, however, the latest agreement reinforces its support through the provision of underwriting capacity.
“We are so pleased to renew our partnership with MS Amlin for another three years and offer continued stability for Haven Knox-Johnston clients,” said Steve Hook, divisional director of Howden Commercial Schemes which owns Haven Knox-Johnston. “Its global reach and financial strength means our policy holders can enjoy their time afloat in the knowledge that they have market leading insurance protection.”
Matt Halpin of MS Amlin Marine, added: “As a highly respected boat insurance brand, under the stewardship of Howden, the team have grown the business to new heights and we look forward to continuing this trajectory together.”
