Hunyvers boat revenue climbs 47%

French recreational vehicle and boating distributor Hunyvers saw its Nautical division revenue reaching 6.9 million euros for the first half of its 2025-2026 financial year (ending February 2026.

This was a half-year increase of 47.1% and 21.6% organic growth (+16.2% in the second quarter).

Acquisitions contributed €1.2 million through the integration of Les Chantiers Navals du Bassin d’Arcachon which took place on December 18 2024.

The Group points out that the strong performance, achieved during a period that is traditionally less profitable – the first half of the year usually accounts for only a quarter of the division’s annual activity – bodes well for the start of the peak season.

Sustained order intake

At the halfway point of the fiscal year, Hunyvers says it is benefiting from a healthy order book in both of its business lines, with the sustained order intake in the boating sector reflecting the positive reception of manufacturers’ new ranges.

At the halfway point of the fiscal year, Hunyvers’ combined RV and boating revenue stood at €47.6 million, compared to €48.7 million a year earlier, representing a slight decrease of 2.2%.

The leisure vehicle segment declined by 7.4% over the first half of the year, to €40.7 million, with a greater decline in used vehicle sales (-11.2%).

12 boat dealerships

New vehicle sales saw a decrease of 5.9% over six months, including a recovery in the second quarter (+5.7%).

In addition, new leisure vehicle sales in March showed strong growth, which Hunyvers says reinforces the prospect of a return to solid momentum in the second half of the year.

Related services also grew by 1.2% over the first half, with an acceleration in the second quarter (+7.9%).

Hunyvers was founded in 2006 and diversified into boating in 2020.

The organisation owns 15 motorhome dealerships and 12 boat dealerships.
