Magma Products has appointed Billy McFadden as president, effective immediately.
After serving as chief executive officer for six years, Chris de Recat will transition to board chairman of the company which supplies outdoor products to the marine industry.
In this role, he will remain actively involved in shaping Magma’s strategic priorities and supporting the leadership team.
The company says the leadership transition supports its continued focus on operational excellence, customer partnership, and long-term growth.
McFadden brings experience in consumer brand leadership and go-to-market execution to his new role.
Leadership and values
His background includes senior leadership roles with Solo Stove, Aquasana, and Cuisinart, as well as early career experience as a manufacturer’s representative.
“Magma is well-positioned for its next phase, and Billy’s leadership experience and values make him an excellent fit for where the business is headed,” explained de Recat.
“We are fully aligned on strategy and execution, and I look forward to supporting him as board chairman.”
As president, McFadden will lead Magma’s commercial and operational teams, with a focus on strengthening partnerships, driving disciplined growth, and building organisational capability.
