Viggo Boats appoints exclusive UK and Ireland dealer

Viggo Boats has appointed Vortec Marine as its exclusive UK and Ireland dealer.

Viggo Boats, based in Öregrund, Sweden, builds hybrid aluminium vessels known for their rugged design.

The range caters to diverse maritime needs, from high-speed leisure to energy-efficient cruising.

Vortec Marine, which has bases in Swanwick and Gosport on the South Coast of the UK, will act as the exclusive point of contact for all Viggo Boat enquiries in the UK and Ireland, offering test drives, technical demonstrations, and sales and aftercare support for clients.

The Viggo range includes the Viggo C8 and its refined version, the C8.1 which are 8.2 meters in length and have top speeds ranging from 45 to 65 knots.

The C8.1 introduces enhanced ergonomics, improved hull dynamics, and a redesigned helm station for modern navigation.

Future propulsion technologies

The Viggo X8 is a versatile open boat suitable for family outings and social gatherings while the Viggo C10 Offshore is 10.95 meters in length, with top speeds between 50 and 65 knots, accommodating up to ten passengers.

Its design features a deep-V hull and advanced trim systems, for stability in challenging sea conditions.

The latest addition, the Viggo C11 Cruiser, has been built for efficient cruising at lower speeds. The vessel it comes standard with an all-electric drivetrain and offers modular options for future propulsion technologies.
