Two new key superyacht products from Quick Group

Quick Group has launched two new key products at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

The products are an automatic Airlock pantograph door with inflatable airlock under the Group’s Nemo brand and the all-new Riviera series of capstans and windlasses under the Sanguineti brand.

The Nemo Airlock Pantograph Door is designed for side-access openings and uses a push-button control panel for opening and closing, with the addition of an automatic inflatable airlock seal to ensure watertightness. It is powered by a 24V DC supply.

The door design is customisable, in relation to size and shape and can also be finished to match a boat’s colour and trim.

An emergency handle can be specified to ensure manual operation and the seal can also be inflated manually in case of power failure.

“This complements the range of manual and semi-automatic pantograph doors already available in the Nemo range, but this is the first time we have made a fully automatic pantograph door with inflatable seal,” explained Lorenzo Cesari, Quick Group head of sales for the Superyacht Division. “In fact, although some heavy-duty applications for things like stern doors exist, this is a first in the industry for a pantograph side door.”

Sanguineti’s new Riviera Series of windlasses and capstans build on the company’s six-decade heritage.

The products are designed for all operational parameters and developed for yachts up to 70 meters LOA.

All models in the Riviera range feature AISI 316 stainless steel bases, along with reducers with anti-corrosive properties for lightness and strength.

Each model features optimised drum design for better grip as well as offering a modern and elegant aesthetic.

The Riviera windlass range features power options from 3.5kW to 15kW and supports chain sizes from 12mm to 26mm.

Sanguineti has 65 years of heritage and has been a leading manufacturer of windlasses for decades.

The series includes vertical windlasses available with or without drums, and each model is equipped with an integrated sensor and magnet for the chain counter.

The range can also be customised to meet customer needs, including choices of colour and configuration.

“Sanguineti has 65 years of heritage and has been a leading manufacturer of windlasses for decades, and many of its products are still operational on yachts 40 years on,” said Lorenzo.

“We have drawn on this strong background and combined it with the expertise of the Quick Group – each of our facilities has an expert technical office as well as CNC machines – to launch the Riviera windlass and capstan range with updated designs and all-new features, from the chain stopper to the drum to the remote controls.”
