Twisted Marine has been appointed UK distributor for Northstar Boats.
The Northstar RIBs range from 2.9m to 12m in length with power from 20hp to 1350hp. They are manufactured through resin transfer moulding to create consistent and well-engineered craft.
Twisted Marine have secured an initial order of over 20 boats which are scheduled to be available early 2024.
“The Northstar product range fits our brand ethos very well since they are designed with a real focus on performance,” explained Twisted MD, Jake Cronk. “2023 has seen an unprecedented year of success and expansion for Twisted Marine, and securing our UK distributor status for NorthStar boats adds to our comprehensive offering.”
The RIBS have a twin step hull designed by the infamous British designer: Adam Younger to produce unrivalled performance in all sea states.
The craft are manufactured in Izmir, Turkey, in Northstar’s dedicated facility.
The RIBS consist of recreational units and special products with the recreational RIBS starting from a 3.1m tender to a 12m high performance RIB. The Special Products Business Unit designs and builds RIBS up to 12.5m for professional and military use. Both business units have their own engineering and design staff.
The RIBS available from Twisted Marine will be rigged and assembled in Salcombe by Twisted Marine engineers and fitted with either Honda or Mercury engines.
The Northstar brand was founded in 2002 with production of RIBs and boats starting the same year. Northstar became a RIB only brand in 2008.
