Ocean Safety has made three new appointments to its technical team.

Jamie Gunton has joined the safety company as technical manager, Josh Fielder is taking on the role of product category manager (lifejackets) and Josh Belben joins as product designer.

Jamie’s previous roles include engineering manager with Crewsaver and global product design engineer with Mustang Survival.

He will be responsible for maintaining, strengthening, and developing Ocean Safety’s range of lifesaving equipment.

He will also supervise the technical and product training teams across Ocean Safety’s liferaft and Man Overboard (MOB) ranges, including the Jon Buoy MOB and Recovery range.

“I’m looking forward to leading this incredible team in maintaining and developing quality safety products, offering the highest level of performance, as well as working in line with Ocean Safety’s sustainability policy to help reduce the environmental impact of the marine industry,” said Jamie.

Josh Fielder will oversee the design and development of the leisure, commercial and military lifejacket ranges for Ocean Safety, and those of fellow Alliance Marine owned brands Typhoon International and Revere Survival.

His previous design and manufacturing experience, gained across various industries including a four-year tenure in the marine industry, makes Josh well suited to his new role where he’ll be integral to the continuous development of Ocean Safety’s range of lifejackets.
