Safe Harbor acquires additional Caribbean marina

Safe Harbor Marinas has acquired Christophe Harbour Marina in the Caribbean’s St. Kitts.

The new Safe Harbor location is a naturally protected harbour with premier amenities and superyacht infrastructure with the ability to accommodate vessels up to 115 meters in length.

“We’re extremely pleased to be able to serve the global fleet in this important region with an offering of such high quality,” said Baxter Underwood, CEO of Safe Harbor Marinas.

Christophe Harbour Marina is a located between Antigua and St. Maarten in the Eastern Caribbean charter and cruising grounds.  

The marina offers alongside mooring, a deepwater harbour with a turning bbasin, in-slip fuelling and power.

Superyachts

At full build-out, the marina will consist of 250 alongside berths, 50 of which will be able to accommodate superyachts up to 250ft.

“We are excited to offer our captains and crew another location that provides the amenities and service they have come to expect at our facilities,” said Christian Denhard, senior vice president at Safe Harbor Marinas.

“Now in the heart of the Caribbean, we can’t wait to see the fleet in St. Kitts.”

Safe Harbor now offers more than 1,000 berths in the Caribbean with its other locations including Safe Harbor Puerto Del Rey, the Caribbean’s largest marina, and Safe Harbor San Juan.

Safe Harbor Marinas was acquired by Blackstone Infrastructure earlier in 2025.
