Nautor Swan and Edmiston are to partner to develop a new 40+ metres sailing alloy range.
The first yacht from the commercial partnership will be designed by Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design.
For Nautor Swan, the venture represents a step into a new market, in relation to both size and material.
The partnership is intended to elevate Nautor Swan’s presence in the maxi yacht segment and strengthen the reach of the new alloy range across the world.
It also marks another significant step in the Nautor Swan for America initiative that began with the partnership with American Magic, aiming to re-energize sailing in the United States.

The alloy sailing yachts will focus on protection, comfort, and long-range cruising ability.
Sustainability will be at the core of the designs, incorporating solutions such as hydrogeneration and other eco-friendly technologies including methanol and hydrogen.

Edmiston is one of the largest brokerage houses in the world.
Bruce Brakenhoff will be the primary contact at Edmiston for the project with Edmiston’s office in Newport, Rhode Island, serving as the operational hub for the promotion and sales activities of the new yacht range.
In January 2025, Nautor Swan announced it was to develop two new product lines and share technology with the America’s Cup racing team American Magic.
