The Yacht Brokerage, owned by Simon Walworth and based on the UK’s South Coast, has merged with Nigel Goodhew’s Sigma 38’ Brokerage.
“The opportunity to work together is long overdue,” said Simon Walworth as he announced the merger. “Nigel has many years’ experience and considerable expertise in cruiser racers, one design race boats, and with the demands of the modern coastal and offshore cruising community. As a long-term yacht owner, Nigel is well known on the Solent circuit and able to offer a nuanced perspective to our clients and customers.”
Nigel Goodhew added: “I am delighted to join the team at The Yacht Brokerage and am certain I can add value to the team and its substantial client base.”
The Yacht Brokerage specialises in helping clients and customers sell or buy used cruisers, cruiser racers and racing yachts.
Simon Walworth is also a co-owner of www.boatmatch.com. Founded in 2000, www.boatmatch.com has sold more than 2,000 motor and sailing yachts.
The merger takes place with immediate effect.
