Denison Yachting has appointed Patrick Coote as worldwide president following OceanWorld Group’s acquisition of a majority shareholding in the brokerage and yacht services company.
Coote will lead a strategy to strengthen Denison’s position in the United States and expand its operations across Europe and the Gulf Cooperation Council region. The programme will combine organic investment with targeted acquisitions across brokerage, dealership and other yachting activities.
The ownership change brings together Denison’s established US business with OceanWorld’s international platform and resources in Europe and the Middle East. Denison says the appointment is the start of an ‘ambitious new chapter’ for the company.
Coote has more than 25 years’ senior-level experience in the international superyacht industry. His previous leadership roles include positions at Fraser Yachts, Northrop & Johnson, Azimut Benetti Group and Blohm+Voss. Most recently, he worked across the brands in MarineMax’s Superyacht Division.
His responsibilities will include operational performance across Denison’s regions, sustainable growth, cross-regional collaboration and service standards.
