Italian high-performance boat builder Canados has partnered with Italian linen brand 100% Capri to create the Gladiator 571 Grand Performance 100% Capri.
The new 57ft yacht will be presented by Canados at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) from 28 October to 1 November.
The collaboration coincides with Canados’ 80th anniversary in 2026, following its founding in 1946.
The Gladiator 571 uses vacuum-bagged E-glass construction with carbon-fibre components. Twin 1,150hp Scania Nanni N16 CR3 marine engines are coupled to a France Hélices surface-drive system, giving a stated maximum speed of more than 50 knots.
Canados created the exterior with Rome-based Satura Studio. The arrangement is intended to support both day use and longer cruising, with built-in bow seating, a hardtop and an integrated double-curved windscreen.
Modern production techniques
A garage provides storage for a 9ft RIB tender. The yacht has an overall length of 57ft 4in and a beam of 15ft 9in, with an approximate displacement of around 26 tonnes.
Fuel capacity is 660 gallons and freshwater capacity is 159 gallons. Canados states a range of 420 nautical miles.
The interior was developed by Canados and 100% Capri, founded by designer Antonino Aiello. Natural linen is used across the soft furnishings, combining traditional Italian tailoring with modern production techniques.
