The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) has appointed Romina Bompani to the newly created role of head of partnerships.
In her new position, Romina will lead the development of partnerships across the global recreational marine industry, supporting ICOMIA’s mission to advance the sustainable growth of the global leisure marine industry.
She will work closely with member associations, industry stakeholders, commercial partners and international organisations to create opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, research, advocacy and industry standards development.
Romina joins ICOMIA with more than two decades of experience in the international marine industry, gained across Europe, the US and Latin America.
Revenue growth
She has built a reputation for developing commercial infrastructure and delivering initiatives with measurable revenue growth.
Romina is fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish, bringing an international outlook to the role.
The appointment underlines ICOMIA’s ambition to elevate the member experience, sharpen its marketing, strengthen commercial partnerships and make smarter use of data and digital tools across its engagement with members, sponsors and the wider industry.
