Centek Marine has appointed Jason Blackburn as director of business development, with a focus on recreational marine OEM and channel growth.
Blackburn has more than 30 years’ experience in the marine industry, working with OEMs, engine manufacturers and distributors.
He currently serves as vice chair of the National Marine Manufacturers Association PAC Board, as an NMMA board member and as second vice chair of the NMMA Marine Accessory and Components Division board.
In the new role, Blackburn will work with boatbuilders, engine manufacturers, distributors and other channel partners as Centek expands its recreational marine business development activity.
“Jason brings focused market expertise that will help us reach more customers, develop stronger partnerships, and support the next phase of Centek’s growth,” said Tom Hodges, vice president of sales and marketing at Centek Marine.
Blackburn’s appointment follows five years of expansion at Centek through organic growth and the acquisitions of Delta-T Systems and Viking Marine Exhaust.
Centek Marine designs and manufactures marine exhaust and ventilation systems and related products for recreational, commercial, military and specialist marine applications.
