A new sustainable boating trade show has been announced for 2025.
The first edition of Nice Boating Tomorrow, a collaboration between the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis and Grand Pavois Organisation, will take place over four days from October 30 to November 2.
The event will be focused on the environmental transition taking place in the boating industry looking at current approaches and solutions, focused on the Mediterranean market, while considering future practices.
Visitors will be able to attend sea demonstrations, participate in trials, and engage in round tables, conferences, and meetings.
The agreement to hold the event was signed by Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, and Alain Pochon, president of Grand Pavois Organisation.
“The signing of this agreement gives life to Nice Boating Tomorrow and once again materialises the desire of the City of Nice and the Metropolis Nice Côte d’Azur to offer a more responsible world,” said Christian. “And what better challenge than to link boating and environmental transition.
“The boating industry, committed to reducing its ecological footprint, had to have a show fully dedicated to this major issue of preserving our planet and our resources.
“The event aims to become a major showcase for local and national expertise, while emphasising the importance of reducing the ecological footprint in the boating industry.”
Alain Pochon, president of Grand Pavois Organisation, added: “We must promote all the approaches and solutions that exist today, which are strongly focused on the Mediterranean market, but also to project ourselves and present what the practice of tomorrow will be.
“It is also essential to concentrate energies, ideas and initiatives around the issue of environmental transition and Nice Boating Tomorrow aims to be an annual highlight of international boating and its future.”
Organisers are hoping that Nice Boating Tomorrow will be an annual leading event for international boating.
