METSTRADE has partnered with recruitment company Marine Resources to introduce a new METSTRADE Career Zone.
The initiative is aimed at providing an opportunity for young professionals within the industry and will take centre stage within the Young Professional Club at this year’s show.
Students and up-and-coming professionals will be able to have complimentary access to career coaching sessions from Marine Resources’ recruiters and additionally, METSTRADE exhibitors will be offered free job advertisement opportunities within the METSTRADE Career Zone.
“We are immensely proud to lead the way with the Young Professionals Club and provide a dedicated space during METSTRADE for young professionals to connect and network,” said James Ward, Marine Resources founder and CEO.
Niels Klarenbeek, METSTRADE show director, added: “We are excited about this collaborative venture, which focuses on nurturing, developing, and retaining talent in our industry.
“We are confident that the METSTRADE Young Professionals Club will empower young professionals and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the leisure marine industry.”
Marine Resources will also promote its ‘The Future Talent’ initiative during METSTRADE, which is built on four key pillars: Attract, Train, Retain, Thrive.
The campaign will provide a platform for young professionals to express their aspirations and expectations for the marine industry’s future while collecting insights and data.
It also aims to educate and influence the industry on the needs of young professionals, particularly millennials and Gen Z, as contributors to the industry’s continued success.
