Mustang Survival will introduce a new range of lifejackets and buoyancy aids at METSTRADE 2023.

The Atlas 190 Life Jacket is an offshore-capable vest that incorporates ADAPT Technology (ADvanced Airway Protection and Turning) for extra protection.

Key features include bladder lobes shaped for effective turning, baffle barriers for wave dispersion, and a 3D-integrated pillow for optimal head support.

The vest sits off the neck and has been designed for all-day comfort for the wearer’s neck and shoulders.

Modular accessories, such as an integrated sprayhood and light, allow users to customise their experiences and safety needs in the deluxe (DLX) version.

Podium 50

The Podium 50 PDF’s low-profile design delivers high-performance safety for sport boaters and dinghy sailors.

The soft and flexible PFD eliminates bulk and snag points, maximising agility for the user.

A pocket layout provides storage options, enabling gear to be accessible and a breathable air mesh ensures wearers stay cool.

Mustang Survival has designed the Passport 50 Buoyancy Aid for a wide range of recreational watersports, including paddling and sailing.

The design team has prioritised fit, form, and functionality, with two zippered pockets for easy access to essentials such as phones and keys.

There are five size options ranging from junior to adult XL and accompanying torso adjustments.

Drowning

“The stark statistics of drownings and tragic incidents at sea serve as sombre reminders of what could have been prevented by the simple act of wearing a PFD or life jacket,” said Nigel Parkes, international MD and product designer of the life jackets.

“Our relentless product and design teams at Mustang Survival never cease their quest to create more comfortable life jackets, catering to the diverse needs of marine professionals and enthusiasts.

“We couldn’t be prouder to introduce a complete line of three comfortable vests to the European market during METS.”

All the new life jackets will become available in Europe from March 2024.
