Luxury yacht brokerage Northrop & Johnson has appointed Ben Young as commercial director Europe, effective immediately.
The appointment follows the promotion of the former MD Europe, Patrick Coote, to VP of brand marketing of MarineMax’s Superyacht Division.
Ben joins Northrop & Johnson from his position as founder and commercial director of SYM, now Fairport Global.
In his role with Fairport, Ben focused on strengthening and growing Fairport’s EU yacht management team while implementing new strategies and will make use of his industry experience and network of contacts in his new position.
In his new position, he will work under N&J president and CCO Cromwell Littlejohn focusing on developing and overseeing the European commercial divisions for Northrop & Johnson, including in Monaco, Antibes, Palma, London and Istanbul.
