Simon Payne has been appointed to the newly-created role of chief commercial officer at technical clothing company Henri-Lloyd.
In the newly created role, Simon will work alongside executive chairman Knut Frostad focusing on managing and increasing sales including distribution, wholesale, licensees, e-commerce and retail.
Simon joins Henri-Lloyd having previously been global sales director for Zhik seeing the company through worldwide growth.
He has also enjoyed sales, marketing and leadership posts with Musto, 3M and Kimberly-Clark.
Simon is a double world champion in sailing in the Moth dinghy class and is a keen cruising sailor.
“Over a period of some months, Graham Allen and I have been seeking to recruit exactly the right person for this role,” said Knut.

Simon’s new role will encompass helping to achieve Henri-Lloyd’s ambitious growth plans implemented under its new ownership within the Monte Rosa Sports Group.
