SilverCat has unveiled the second generation of its power catamarans, with a larger beam-to-length ratio offering more spacious interior and exterior social areas.
The new SilverCat model line-up introduces contemporary interiors featuring upgraded materials and refined finishes that are soft to the touch, visually appealing and easy to maintain.
The models have been designed with open-plan layouts, with expansive panoramic glazing, for bright interiors designed for comfort and indoor-outdoor living.
The wider beam further enhances the vessel’s inherent stability and seaworthiness.
Modern power catamarans
The first model is the SilverCat 47 in the shipyard’s Family Series, designed by SilverCat’s in-house team.
“With the SilverCat 47, our ambition was to redefine the modern power catamaran by bringing together contemporary yacht styling, intelligent space planning and premium craftsmanship,” said Cristiana Cassese, product marketing specialist for SilverCat.
“Every line, feature and material has been carefully developed to create a distinctive SilverCat identity that delivers exceptional comfort, effortless entertaining and a true luxury experience for owners.”
The SilverCat 47 has a 4.92-metre beam that provides a large aft entertainment area. Optional fold-down balconies further extend the cockpit, creating a more immersive connection with the sea, while the integrated in-house developed automatic swim ladder provides easy access to the water.
Entertainment lounge
Owners can tailor the cockpit to suit their lifestyle with a choice of flexible seating configurations, while an extended hardtop provides shade, and forward, an entertainment lounge accommodates up to eight guests.
Inside, a wide-opening patio door connects the cockpit and salon, enhancing the indoor-outdoor lifestyle.
Bright, open living spaces, configurable galley options and well-appointed accommodation have been designed to combine practicality with comfort.
The SilverCat 47 is designed for comfortable family cruising, featuring a twin-seat social helm with twin companion seats, en-suite accommodation with natural light and ventilation and a tropical HVAC package.
The SilverCat 47 is built using rPET (recycled PET) foam core materials manufactured from 100% recycled plastic which contributes to lower CO₂ emissions during production while maintaining the strength and durability.
