iNav4U has launched a Nordic subsidiary, iNav4U Nordic AS, based in Norway.
The move marks the company’s official expansion into the Scandinavian market and establishes an operational footprint for the Canadian marine technology company across North America and Europe.
The new subsidiary will serve Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland and represents a milestone in the company’s global growth strategy.
iNav4U Nordic AS will be led by Kim Dahlstrøm who takes on the role of CEO. He will focus on dealer development, strategic partnerships and providing long-term market support across Scandinavia.
Norway is one of the most sophisticated boating markets in the world.
Brenda Robinson
“Norway is one of the most sophisticated boating markets in the world,” said Brenda Robinson, COO and co-founder of iNav4U.
“Nordic boaters expect intelligent, integrated systems. They value innovation, safety, and engineering excellence. That aligns perfectly with who we are and what Zora [the company’s open operating system] represents.”
Robinson added: “iNav4U Nordic is a strategic cornerstone of our global expansion.
“We are investing in local leadership, local dealer relationships, and regional support. This is about building a permanent footprint in Scandinavia.”
In support of the expansion, iNav4U will officially introduce Zora 3.0 and iNav4U Nordic AS to Scandinavian boaters and industry partners at Allt för Sjön – the Stockholm International Boat Show, taking place from March 5-8 and March 12-15, 2026, at Stockholmsmässan.
Single intelligent interface
Zora 3.0 is designed as an open-protocol operating system for yachts, unifying navigation, onboard systems, automation, data management, and situational awareness into a single intelligent interface.
Zora is built as a scalable platform designed to evolve with the vessel and integrate seamlessly with third-party systems.
“The Nordic market is ready for a new approach to marine technology,” said Dahlstrøm.
“Boaters here are highly technical, forward-thinking, and expect systems that work together seamlessly.
Global dealer rollout
“Zora delivers something fundamentally different – a unified, intelligent platform instead of fragmented electronics. I’m proud to lead iNav4U Nordic AS and bring this technology to Scandinavia.”
The Nordic subsidiary follows the announcement of a global dealer rollout in late 2025.
iNav4U is currently working toward establishing additional subsidiaries in New Zealand, Australia, and the United States.
“Our vision is global,” said Robinson. “We are building the operating system for yachts worldwide — and the Nordic region is a critical step in that journey.”
