RV and leisure marine business Hunyvers has been appointed as the buyer of French boat equipment company AD Marine as part of a receivership procedure.
AD Marine will be integrated into Hunyvers, opening up new sales prospects for the company which has been diversifying into the marine sector for several years.
AD Marine has a turnover of €1 million and a balanced operating profit. The company employs seven people and operates two stores specialising in the sale of chandlery equipment in Piriac-sur-Mer and Arzal.
These two locations are said to offer strong potential for Hunyvers’ planned expansion.
The acquisition of AD Marine follows on from previous recent marine acquisitions for Hunyvers which contributed €4.1 million in the first nine months of the 2024-2025 financial year.
