Bellingham Marine Australia has been appointed as delivery partner for Stage 1 of the Gateway Marina development at Burnett Heads, Queensland, Australia.
The appointment comes after the $250 million development was rescued from receivership, with the original developer, Simon Harvey, regaining control of the waterfront project.
The 76,000sqm waterfront site is set to incorporate a 318 berth marina a waterfront residential community as well as retail, dining and tourism experiences.
Stage 1 is planned to deliver 92 berths, including 88 private recreational berths and four commercial berths, along with a full-service fuel dock.

“This project will provide much-needed berthing capacity and create a high-quality marina environment that will support boating, tourism and economic growth for many years to come.”
“We are looking forward to working closely with Simon Harvey and the broader project team to bring Stage 1 to life.”
