E-Force Marine diversifies into electric craft

Florida-based E-Force Marine has diversified into the production of electric craft with the launch of its Aurora E30.

The company, known for its its e-drive propulsion systems, has developed the 30ft electric catamaran which integrates its e-drive technology

The vessel has a 10ft beam, with E-Force Marine saying it has focused on creating a comfortable and practical cruising experience rather than high speeds.

The Aurora has an 80 mile range, with an optional hybrid version extending the range to 190 miles with the addition of an onboard generator.

The boat offers a cruising speed of 20 knots and a top speed of 30 knots.

The Aurora E30 has fast-charging capabilities enabling the battery to be fully replenished in two hours; a standard marina power connection takes around 12 hours.

The time to transition to electric boats is now.

The vessel also features a solar canopy contributing to net-zero operation.

“Another key benefit of our zero-emission electric boat is its ability to reduce noise pollution on the water,” said E-force Marine CTO and CEO Al Haghayegh.

“This is especially valuable for homeowners with waterfront properties. Even at our top speed of 35mph, the only sound outside the boat is the splash of water, no engine noise.”

The prototype phase for the Aurora E30 will begin in September 2025, with testing running through November.

Production is planned to begin in January 2026.

“The time to transition to electric boats is now. Unlike cars, boats have a much longer lifespan, often 20 years or more. Currently, 94% of watercraft sold in the U.S. are gas-powered, meaning these vessels will continue polluting our waterways for decades,” added Al.

E-Force Marine, based in Florida, was founded by Al Haghayegh to help lead the shift towards electric-powered boats.

“The marine industry’s shift to electric has been long overdue,” said Al. “E-Force Marine is ahead of the curve and ready to help new  adopters to make the switch.”
