Cantiere del Pardo has announced an updated long-term growth strategy centered on industrial investment, product development and closer engagement with its owner communities.
The announcement was made as the Group took part in the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.
The Italian group, which owns Pardo Yachts, Grand Soleil Yachts and VanDutch Yachts, says it is continuing to invest during a changing market cycle so that it is positioned for future growth.
“Our approach is simple: we keep investing today so that we are ready to grow tomorrow,” said Marcello Veronesi, chief executive of Cantiere del Pardo.
“Since Oniverse Group became the owner of Cantiere del Pardo, we have maintained a clear long-term vision, committing significant resources to our facilities, our products and our people.
“What we are presenting in Cannes today is a direct result of that strategy.”
Industrial platform
A central part of the investment programme is the expansion of the company’s industrial platform.
The first phase of a new plant in Forlì is due to open by the end of 2026, with full completion scheduled for 2027.
The project will add more than 35,000sqms of production space and is intended to support future growth across all three brands while keeping Forlì at the centre of the group’s manufacturing operations.
The programme will continue in spring 2027 with the opening of a new Launching and Welcome Centre in Marina di Ravenna.
The site will allow a significant number of sailing and motor yachts to be launched directly from the facility and will also serve as a customer-facing base where owners can meet the brands, view models and undertake sea trials.
Product development is the second focus of the strategy, with three world premieres presented by the group at Cannes.
Three world premiers
Pardo Yachts has unveiled the Pardo GT65, the latest model in its GT concept. The yacht builds on the Pardo GT52 and GT75 and incorporates feedback from more than 70 owners, which helped shape the layout and onboard use of space.
Pardo Yachts has chosen a single developed layout for the GT65, designed to make effective use of the yacht’s available space.
A broad range of essential equipment is included as standard, while owners can select options to adapt the yacht to their requirements.
Cannes also marked the European debut of the Pardo 43 Outboard.
Grand Soleil Yachts has presented two world premieres: the Grand Soleil Plus 80 and the Grand Soleil 60.
The Plus 80 moves the Grand Soleil Plus concept into a larger size category and offers a higher level of customisation than the standard Grand Soleil range.
The Plus line is also used by the company as a development platform for design, materials and technology that can later be transferred into the wider range.
Since the first 72ft Plus model was launched in 2023, 15 Plus yachts have been delivered to owners in eight countries.
A second Grand Soleil Plus 80 hull, with a flush-deck configuration, is under construction and is due to be completed over the coming months.
The Grand Soleil 60 is aimed primarily at offshore and bluewater cruising. The yacht combines the brand’s performance-oriented background with features designed for extended time at sea.
Standard equipment includes hydraulic vang and backstay systems, a furling headsail, electronic engine controls at the helm station and 1,000-litre fuel and fresh-water tanks.
Owner engagement
The third element of the strategy is stronger owner engagement. In 2026, CdP Week made its debut in Porto Cervo, joining established events such as the Grand Soleil Cup and Pardo Rendez-Vous.
Together, the events attracted several hundred participants. CdP Week is scheduled to return to Porto Cervo in June 2027 in collaboration with the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.
Cantiere del Pardo has also renewed its partnership with Luna Rossa for a third consecutive America’s Cup cycle.
Ahead of the 2027 event in Naples, the company will move from official supplier to official partner, with yachts from Pardo, VanDutch and Grand Soleil supporting Luna Rossa’s operational and hospitality activities.
