Arkhaus has unveiled its Villa 50 project, a next-generation 50-foot floating yacht and residence, at the 2026 Miami International Boat Show.
Villa 50 is designed as a stable and spacious living space, suitable for both private waterfront living and hospitality and social experiences.
Instead of anchoring, the vessel uses deployable support poles that lift and stabilise the structure, almost as if the structure is on dry land.
The interior of the Villa 50 project is conceived by Italian design house Pininfarina, known for its collaborations with Ferrari, Maserati, Related, Coca-Cola, and other global brands.
Pininfarina’s approach imbues Villa 50 with a refined sense of style and emotion.

Using research into materials, the interiors have been designed to embrace a philosophy of lightness and comfort, combining maritime and commercial solutions and enclosed in glass.
Key elements include the placement of the staircases which are designed to support multiple configurations, adapting the space from private to social and hospitality spaces.
The collaboration between Pininfarina and Arkhaus is planned to extend beyond Villa 50 to future iterations.
“Villa 50 proposes a new way of living, an alternative residential model capable of expanding into a modular, floating community, where nautical design and architecture merge into a people-centered experience,” explained Paolo Trevisan, SVP of design at Pininfarina of America.
Future recreational and commercial expressions
The Villa 50 platform supports various configurations, including one-, two-, or commercial-sized.
Arkhaus will also preview the new evolution of the Arkhaus social club at Miami.
“Pininfarina’s approach imbues Villa 50 with a refined sense of style and emotion,” says Sam Payrovi, CEO of Arkhaus.
“This collaboration defines the look and feel Arkhaus will take in its future recreational and commercial expressions.”
Villa 50 is built by American shipbuilder Lyman-Morse.
Arkhaus, founded in 2021, designs and builds next-generation solar-powered yachts. The company also operates a floating social club in Miami and is expanding the concept to other waterfront locations.
