Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin has stepped down after a career spanning 20 years with the company.
He has been succeeded by Zach Hutcheson.
In a statement, Correct Craft thanked Yeargin for 20 years of leadership and service to the company stating that over two decades, he has helped shape Correct Craft’s culture, strengthen its long-term strategy, and champion the company’s purpose of Making Life Better.
“Bill’s leadership has left a permanent mark on Correct Craft,” said Hutcheson.
“For 20 years, he has elevated culture, invested deeply in people and challenged us to chase impact.
“His legacy is not only what the company achieved but how it achieved it, with purpose, and a genuine commitment to making life better.”

And he added that Yeargin’s tenure has been defined by a focus on people and culture, disciplined execution and meaningful impact in communities where Correct Craft team members live and work.
Under his leadership, Correct Craft also achieved a significant milestone – that of reaching the billion-dollar mark.
“It has been an honour to serve this team for the past 20 years,” said Yeargin.
“Correct Craft’s strength has always been our people and our culture. I’m proud of what we’ve built together and grateful for the opportunity to lead a company committed to Making Life Better.”
Yeargin added: “Zach is the right leader for this next chapter. We’ve worked side by side to prepare for this transition, and I have full confidence in his ability to lead with clarity, care for people and a commitment to Making Life Better.”
Industry board representation
Yeargin’s marine industry career began 40 years’ ago at the age of 21 when he joined South Florida boatyard and marina Spencer Boat Co.
Over the last 40 years, he has served on many industry boards including the American Boat Builders and Repairers Association, the International Marina Institute, Association or Marina Industries, American Boat and Yacht Council and the National Marine Manufacturers Association.
He held the position of NMMA board chair for more than two years and he has also written numerous articles and nine books.

The company was founded more than 100 years’ ago.
