KRM Yacht Refit & Rebuild has signed a contract with Cimolai Technology for a state-of-the-art 900T Travel Lift, said to be the largest travel lift in Turkey.
The travel lift will have a capacity of 900T, allowing KRM Yacht to accommodate vessels up to 70m in size.
It is due to be ready for operation from November 2024 at KRM’s Viaport Marina Tuzla, Istanbul, facility.
“Seven years ago, we made our first purchase from Cimolai Technology — a 300T Travel Lift,” said KRM’s MD, Kerem Başer. “Today, we’re proud to continue our partnership with this acquisition of a 900T Travel Lift.”
KRM Yacht provides a range of refit and rebuild services including engineering and design, metalworks, carpentry, painting, project management and composite and GRP work.
The company has more than 100 full time employees and access to more than 350 marine professionals. The yard has delivered more than 200 completed projects since it was founded.
