Istanbul-based shipyard Sirena Yachts has begun 2024 on a high note, with a full order book for the year and an increase in production capacity of 20%.
In addition, the shipyard is due to begin construction of its first superyacht in 2024 with the range scheduled for completion by 2026.
In 2023, the shipyard delivered more than 40 yachts, spanning its entire size range with its first ever deliveries to New Caledonia and Maldives while Turkey and the US were the strongest markets.
Yachts delivered included two units of its smaller, entry-level yacht, the Sirena 48.
The Sirena 58 yacht saw 14 units delivered in 2023, with eight finding their homes in the US, three in Italy and three in Turkey.
The model with the largest number of deliveries in 2023 was the Sirena 68 with 16 units delivered in the last 12 months. In addition, there were four units of both the Sirena 78 and Sirena 88 delivered 2023.
“As we reflect on the year just gone, we could not be happier with our results, and it is all thanks to the hard work, expertise, skill and dedication of our team, as well as the fantastic owners we work to serve,” said Sirena Yachts CEO Çağın Genç. “Looking to the future, we look forward to beginning construction of the first Sirena superyacht in 2024.
“This is our three-model range of steel and alloy superyachts which will be completed by 2026 – we can’t wait to showcase these to the industry to highlight what we are capable of.”
