Hiswa te Water organisers have recorded more registrations than ever for the 2024 edition.
The boat show will be held from 28 August to 1 September in Lelystad’s Bataviahaven and is already sold out in some segments.
With more than 430 boats, the Bataviahaven has reached its current limits.
“At our country’s biggest boatshow, it’s not just about having lots of boats, we want to bring greater diversity in the water and on the shore this year,” said sales manager Alex Hoeve.
“Visitors nowadays also want to get to know the company behind the boats and that is why we welcome more exhibitors than before. Partly for this reason, we have also segmented the boat show even more clearly for ‘24.”
This year a separate jetty has been created in the harbour mouth for boat demonstrations to take place.
Dutch built boats will be moored on the Boulevard, the sailboat segment has been expanded, and brands from The Netherlands and abroad will be represented at the Bataviahaven.
In addition, a special section has been created in the port for XXL dayboats and weekenders.
In 2023, the show attracted more foreign visitors than previously, and organisers are confident this trend will continue in 2024.
