Elite Yacht Covers has expanded into a new unit at the UK’s Hamble Point Marina.
The company will occupy a 618sqft unit at the marina, sharing the new office space with White Dot Sailing.
The move is the first part of Elite Yacht Covers’ planned expansion. The second phase will incorporate a second unit build – currently in the design phase – adjoined to the company’s current loft.
This will provide almost 10,000sqft of manufacturing space, providing capacity to realise the company’s ten year growth plans.
Ideal location
“The fact that there is currently no other specialist cover maker on-site, combined with the variety of marine services already available at the marina, made Hamble Point the ideal location for our expansion,” says Noah di Paola, south coast manager at Elite Yacht Covers.
“Through this new location, we will also be looking to support superyachts entering Ocean Village with our subsidiary, Elite Super Yacht Covers.”
