Allied Strategic Partners (ASP) has acquired Prairie Creek Marina, located on Beaver Lake in Rogers, Arkansas.
As part of the acquisition, Blue Harbor Management, a subsidiary of ASP, will oversee the management and operations of Prairie Creek Marina.
Prairie Creek Marina was founded nearly three decades ago by Craig Smith and has been under the stewardship of the Smith family.
The marina has grown to more than 750 boat slips.
“We are truly honoured that Craig and Renee Smith have trusted Allied Strategic Partners to be the new stewards of Prairie Creek Marina and to have an opportunity to add to the wonderful legacy which they have created,” said Quinn Heidenreich, managing partner of ASP.
Tremendous potential
In addition to its slips, Prairie Creek Marina also has 45 jet ski ports, boat rentals, a ship’s store, gas and diesel fuel pumps, and a floating restaurant.
“Prairie Creek Marina is truly a beautiful location with fantastic amenities and tremendous potential,” said Tara Dwyer, vice president of operations with Blue Harbor Management.
“It is the perfect addition to our growing portfolio of premier marinas, and we look forward to further enhancing the customer experience at Prairie Creek Marina.”
The acquisition is ASP’s second marina purchase within the last 30 days.
The ASP and Blue Harbor Management portfolio now includes locations across Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Tennessee, and Virginia, consisting of around 3,200 boat slips, 80 RV sites, and 30 cabins.
ASP is a Dallas-based private asset management firm.
