Oyster Yachts has appointed Stefan Zimmermann Zschocke as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective 1 September 2025.
He will join Oyster Yachts having most recently served as a member of the executive board of HanseYachts.
Stefan has more than three decades of international industry experience, with a career bridging both engineering and operations leadership.
His previous roles have included senior positions with global brands such as Rolls-Royce Power Solutions, where he has built a reputation for delivering transformational improvements in manufacturing quality and efficiency, while focusing on customer values.
During his time working on Aston Martin engines and powertrains, when the company was under Ford ownership, he contributed significantly to their performance development.

During his time at HanseYachts, the company implemented a focused brand and product strategy and launched several award-winning models — including the Hanse 460 and the Moody 48 DS, as well as the Fjord 39 XP.
A passionate yachtsman, Stefan has raced in numerous regattas and continues to be actively involved in the sailing community.
Stefan’s appointment comes as the company builds upon record global sales; expands its portfolio of owner experiences; including the Oyster World Rally, Bluewater Academy, and Oyster Explorers Club; and continues to launch new yacht models including the 805.
