Vision Marine Technologies has completed the internal hull optimisation for its E-Motion electric propulsion integration.
The project has been carried out in collaboration with German boatbuilder, MS Marine GmbH (Sterk) and is one of the deliverables under an exclusive supply agreement between the two companies.
The joint engineering effort focused on refining the internal hull layout of Sterk vessels to house Vision Marine’s E-Motion 180E high-voltage electric propulsion system.
Sterk’s approach led to a reimagined internal configuration that supports a range of battery layouts — from three to four high-voltage packs — developed for both single and dual outboard applications.
“This collaboration has produced a purpose-built hull configuration tailored for high-performance electric propulsion,” said Alexandre Mongeon, co-founder and CEO of Vision Marine.
“It represents tangible execution on our partnership with Sterk and underscores the scalability and commercial viability of the E-Motion platform in premium boat segments.”

The next phases of the partnership include complete system integration and sea trials, with certification and commercial rollout expected to follow.
Vision Marine signed a three-year exclusive supply deal with Sterk earlier in 2025.
Under the agreement, Vision Marine will be the sole provider of electric propulsion systems for Sterk boats and exclusively integrate its E-Motion 180E electric propulsion system into certain Sterk boats.
