Nobel Fire Systems acquisition

Marine Fire Safety has been acquired by Nobel Fire Systems, UK based provider of specialist fire risk suppression systems.

The businesses say they have very complementary offerings and the deal will enable Marine Fire Safety to benefit from Nobel Fire Systems scale and technological resources to enhance the company’s product and servicing offering to customers.

“The acquisition is an exciting time for us all here at Marine Fire Safety, as we look ahead towards future growth opportunities and expansion,” said Mark Bresnahan, MD at Marine Fire Safety.

“Nobel Fire Systems is not only the manufacturer of the reputable K-series suppression system but is one of the world’s largest Stat-X distributors.

“Through their support, we will be looking to enhance both our national and international coverage.

“In addition, we will have access to their extensive pool of technical engineers and research and development department, as well as increased stock availability.”

As a result of the acquisition, Marine Fire Safety says it will be looking at opportunities to recruit more staff.

Mark Bresnahan will join Nobel Fire Systems’ board and management team following the acquisition.

For Marine Fire Safety, business will continue as normal. The company provides firefighting and lifesaving equipment to the marine industry.
