Pollentia electric boat company has introduced its vision for the future with its new 40ft electric boat, Ventus.
Pollentia has developed Ventus to combine advanced technology with sustainability, with the company’s exclusive AI Co-Captain onboard assistant at the heart of the vessel.
AI Co-Captain has been designed to bring intelligent navigation, real-time diagnostics, collision avoidance, and energy management to those on board.
The system is designed to adapt to each journey, learning the operator’s preferences and boating style.
The AI assistant is operable through a 9K touchscreen dashboard, offering intuitive control over navigation, safety alerts and diagnostics.
The vessel is constructed using aerospace-grade materials, with polished wood and stainless-steel features.
There is a choice of colour options available including Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, Storm Grey, and Classic White.
A battery provides a range of up to 350 miles on a single charge and is suitable for fast charging.
Pollentia was founded by US Navy veteran Tyler Temple and energy engineer Ivan Shterev, who want to bring innovation to the marine industry.
“Ventus is the realisation of our vision to transform the marine experience,” explained Tyler. “As someone who’s lived and worked on the water, I know firsthand the importance of reliability and precision.
“Ivan and I set out to design an electric boat that is not only beautiful but also smart, efficient, and entirely electric, for a boating experience that respects the environment.”
He added: “Our goal is to raise the bar in marine technology and electrification, creating boats that integrate seamlessly with the latest AI and sustainable practices.”
Pollentia is now aiming to continue to expand with a focus on growing its presence internationally.
Alongside Ventus, Pollentia is researching renewable energy integration to create a green boating ecosystem.
