Andy Hindley has joined ExpeditionZero’s board’s advisory board.
Andy brings decades of expertise in building high performing global sailing businesses to the sustainable adventure sailing company.
His career includes roles as COO of the America’s Cup, CFO of Ben Ainslie Racing, and race director for the Volvo Ocean Race.
His knowledge and industry experience will play a key role in driving forward ExpeditionZero’s vision to create fully recyclable, fossil fuel-free adventure sailing yachts.
“All through my life I’ve pushed the envelope in one way or another,” said Andy. “The only ever Duke of Edinburgh Gold expedition on the open sea, sailing the wrong way round the world, Team Philips, Volvo Ocean Race in state-of-the-art swing keel yachts, America’s Cup is multihulls, pioneering British America’s Cup team – they were all challenges and adventures in the art of the possible.”
He added: “That is what Expedition Zero is; an opportunity to do something revolutionary. That is what attracted me and motivates me to help the team achieve the goal.”
