Australia’s The Boat Works is to add a sixth travelift to its complement of lifting / haulout machines.
The latest machine – a 100-tonne Marine Travelift will arrive from the US by the end of 2024.
The new lift will be used across two boatyards enabling the company to haul out every type of vessel up to 300-tonnes.
It will have four-wheel steering and a beam capacity up to 9.65m and five steering modes.
The Marine Travelift patented All-Wheel Electronic Steering provides fast speeds and safety and is capable of functioning under full load.

The Boat Works facility hauls out more than 3,000 vessels annually.
The facility, based on 55 acres on the Gold Coast features 70 individual refit sheds with up to 20 meters of air draft. There are also 90 marine businesses servicing up to 500 boats both in and out of the water for refit and maintenance, as well as yacht sales.
In the past year, the Superyacht Yard has doubled in size through a major expansion program.
There are also two 100m long, covered, on-water chutes for controlled working environments for all projects.
In the lead up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games, it is anticipated that demand will continue to increase.
