Highfield Boats’ new Highfield EJET330 electric jet tender is now in production.
The EJET330 will stows in the garage of most large yachts over 55ft.
The tender has no propeller and so can be used in very shallow depths and is easily beached.
It is powered by an electric jet propulsion system, developed by New Zealand based ZeroJet, with the technology and design the result of two years of collaboration between the two companies.

The tender measures 3.36 metres long, 1.82 metres wide, and has a 15˚ deadrise. It weighs 320kg total including battery, FCT console wheel steering and system.
The EJET330 features a 10.8kWh battery and 20kW of power, equivalent to 25hp.
The boat will plane at 11 knots upwards and has a top speed of 20 knots.
The lithium iron phosphate 48V-10A low voltage battery will run for up to seven hours and charging takes from 2.5 hours depending on charger output.
The Highfield EJET330 is available in four colour options and has an alloy hull. The craft will carry up to five passengers, features Hypalon tubes, upholstery and deck tread.
Standard features include LCD display, electronic throttle, wheel and steering system, flush mount non-return valves, integrated transom supports, removable set lifting points and towing eyes, plus tow bridle points.
