Arc Boat Company has entered the electric wake boat mass market with the launch of the Arc Sport.
The Arc Sport has 226kWh of battery capacity and a 570hp motor designed for maximum performance.
The craft is being seen as a springboard into a market Arc sees as being in desperate need of modernisation.
“The Arc Sport blends aerospace engineering, EV technology, and genius software for a new wave of boating,” said a company spokesperson.
“The sports boat market is a $4B industry in dire need of modernisation.
“While the automotive industry has benefitted from rapid technological advancement, even today’s premium wake boats rely on outdated technology.”
Integration
Advanced in-house designed software is integrated into the design and controlled through two displays at the helm.
Arc will provide continuous improvements to the software with over-the-air updates, allowing the craft to become more intelligent as it ages.
Other features include an auto-retract hardtop tower that provides an adjustable tow point, an entertainment screen, JL Audio speakers and bow and stern thrusters for help with docking.
Intelligent ballast is created via a strategically positioned battery and computer-controlled water ballast.
The craft has a length of 23ft with a beam of 8.5ft and a draft of 35 inches.
It can seat 15 passengers and is the second model from Arc Boat Company.
The Arc One was a limited edition all-electric cruiser of which 20 models were manufactured with all of them selling out.
Arc Boat Company was founded in January 2021 as a venture-backed start-up based in Los Angeles, US.
