Bulgarian power catamaran builder OMAYA Yachts has appointed Yachtspassion as its exclusive dealer for Italy and Switzerland, extending its European sales network.
Yachtspassion, founded by Vincenzo Elmo, provides yacht sales, brokerage, new-build project support and client advisory services.
Its activities also cover charter and yacht management for customers in Italy, Switzerland and the wider European and Mediterranean markets.
Yachtspassion identified the model’s 8.39-metre beam, social spaces, crew accommodation options and connections between living areas as factors in its assessment.
Power-catamaran market
Elmo, Yachtspassion’s founder and chief executive, said buyers were increasingly examining construction, engineering, usability and operating costs alongside brand recognition.
“Our ambition is to establish OMAYA as a reference in the premium power-catamaran market in Italy and Switzerland and to grow together with the shipyard over the long term,” he said.
“For Yachtspassion, this is much more than a distribution agreement and we see OMAYA as a high-potential entrepreneurial project in which we want to invest our experience, relationships and energy.”
Kaloyan Radulov, chief executive of OMAYA Yachts, said the appointment would support the builder’s expansion across Europe.

Radulov cited the team’s market relationships, client-service approach and long-term commitment as reasons for the partnership.
