IYC to represent Bering across Americas

Bering Yachts has appointed IYC as its exclusive representative across the Americas, covering the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Bermuda, The Bahamas and South America.

The agreement gives IYC responsibility for the Turkish shipyard’s full range of long-range explorer yachts.

This includes aluminium displacement catamarans, steel monohull explorers below 24 metres and superyacht projects above 24 metres, including vessels exceeding 500GT.

IYC sales consultant Josh Marshall will lead the representation. The brokerage will provide a regional point of contact for prospective owners while using its existing client and brokerage network to develop Bering’s sales presence.

Bering points out that North America already accounts for nearly half of Bering’s social media audience and website traffic.

Strong future

“We see a strong future for expedition yachts across the Americas,” said Alexei Mikhailov, founder and chief executive of Bering Yachts.

“This market is already highly active for us and represents a major part of our digital audience.”

He added that the partnership would support owners seeking autonomy, extended cruising capability and access to remote destinations.

Raphael Sauleau, chief executive of IYC, added: “Bering has established a strong position in the explorer segment, and we see significant potential to build on that across the Americas.”

The companies will introduce the partnership at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
