Saxdor Yachts has started production in the United States, completing the first US-built Saxdor 320 GTO at Malibu Boats’ (MBI) facility in Fort Pierce, Florida.
With serial production of the 320 GTO underway, Saxdor is now planning US production of the 270 GTO. Saxdor plans to add further models as the operation develops, supplementing its existing manufacturing in Poland and Finland and bringing more production closer to customers and dealers in the Americas.
The move forms part of a wider regional investment programme. Saxdor is expanding its dealer and service network across the Americas, following partner appointments in Canada, Argentina and the Caribbean.
In the US, Saxdor and MarineMax have agreed to introduce MBI dealers in areas not currently covered by the brand’s established dealer network.
Investing in infrastructure
“The Americas represent a key market for Saxdor, and we are continuing to invest in the foundations needed to support its long-term growth,” said Don Smith, president of sales for the Americas at Saxdor Yachts.
“With the first 320 GTO now completed and more models to follow, we are bringing our production closer to our US customers while continuing to invest in the dealer, service and product infrastructure needed to support our long-term ambitions in the region.”
Saxdor will also use the forthcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show to present its developing US range. The display will include the flagship 460 GTC and the US debut of the 350 GTW, an updated version of the 340 GTWA.
Changes to the 350 GTW include revised sliding wheelhouse doors, an optional L-shaped sofa, additional flooring choices, air conditioning integrated into a redesigned helm console and more bow-cabin storage. Twin Mercury Verado V10 350hp engines will be available.
The open 460 GTS, first shown at the Cannes Yachting Festival, is undergoing final testing ahead of planned US introduction in mid-2027. Saxdor is also developing an aft-cabin version of the 460 GTC.
