Santasevera introduces second model

Santasevera has introduced the 42 yacht, the second model in its range after the Santasevera 52, offering Sport and HT configurations with a choice of sterndrive, outboard or Volvo Penta IPS propulsion.

The standard installation uses twin 380hp Volvo Penta D6 engines, giving a claimed top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 32 knots. The deep-V hull and wide, rounded bow are intended to support balanced handling while increasing usable volume above and below deck.

Designed by company founder Francesco Guida, the 42 can be used as a dayboat, weekender or chase boat.

Its forward helm position improves visibility and leaves more of the cockpit available for social use. The helm has an adjustable leather seat, a central display and angled control panels.

Open layout

“Clean, flowing lines define a yacht that conveys a sense of dynamism even when at rest,” said Guida.

“The spaces naturally adapt to the different moments of life on board, following each person’s own way of experiencing the sea.”

In the Sport version, a windscreen and large side windows protect the helm while maintaining an open layout.

The HT adds a hardtop for greater shelter. Alongside the helm, a C-shaped sofa and extendable table face a galley equipped with two refrigerators, storage, a sink and cooktop.

Natural light

Further aft, two chaise longues lead to a sunpad and swim platform, with storage beneath the seating. Walkaround side decks connect the cockpit with a second sunpad at the bow.

Below deck, the broad forward section creates space for an owner’s cabin with a king-size bed and hull-side storage. The arrangement also includes a bathroom with separate shower, a small sofa and an integrated systems panel. Long hull windows provide natural light.

Interior materials include wood, leather and Corian, supported by recessed LED strips, spotlights and indirect lighting.

The combination of open deck space, overnight accommodation and three propulsion options positions the model between a performance dayboat and compact cruising yacht.
