ZAR mini has appointed Inflatable Boat Pro as its US importer, with a new company, ZAR Mini Boats USA, formed to manage distribution and dealer support.
US orders for the European inflatable boat and RIB brand will be handled through ZAR Mini Boats USA.
The business will act as the central contact for dealers and customers, working with brand owner MS Marine GmbH on sales, distribution, product availability and market development.
The agreement formalises an established relationship between MS Marine and Inflatable Boat Pro, led by Jeff Rodgers.
“We have known Jeff and worked with him for many years, so there is already a strong relationship and a good understanding of the ZAR mini brand,” said Milan Sterk, managing partner of MS Marine.
“With Inflatable Boat Pro, we want to strengthen our presence in the United States and continue building a reliable dealer network that gives customers better access to our boats and local support.”
Rodgers said the companies’ decade-long relationship had ‘proven to be a great partnership’.
And he said the expanded distributorship would include product innovation, with new models being considered for the US market, alongside marketing activity intended to develop retail demand and distribution coverage.
