Lund Boats has introduced its model year 2027 new HG Pro Series, adding 22ft and 24ft heavy-gauge aluminium fishing boats designed for big-water use and changing weather conditions.
The 220 HG Pro and 240 HG Pro use a 0.25-inch hull and transom, wood-free construction and a Pro hardtop cabin. An optional Alaskan bulkhead and door can fully enclose the cabin for colder conditions and shoulder-season fishing.
A 100-gallon fuel tank is intended to extend operating range for longer runs. The layout also includes a 52in insulated recirculating livewell with pump-out capability, alongside cockpit, cabin, rod and equipment storage.
An auxiliary steering station is available for trolling, docking and low-speed manoeuvring. Lund said both models remain trailerable without special permits, allowing owners to move them between fishing locations across North America.
“Lund’s heavy gauge lineup represents an important expansion for anglers who fish some of the largest and most challenging waters in North America,” said Brian Hines, president of Lund Boats.
“The HG Pro is designed to deliver the protection, durability and fishability these anglers need, while staying true to the quality, craftsmanship and ownership experience people expect from Lund.”
