Australia’s AMI Group has announced an alliance with Fremantle Hydraulics, a Western Australian company that designs and manufactures hydraulic equipment together with carrying out maintenance and repair work.
The companies have collaborated and worked together for more than three decades on projects across Australia and South-East Asia and say the new partnership formalises the alliance.
The new partnership is designed to strengthen service capability and deliver enhanced value to customers across the region.
Fremantle Hydraulics provides end-to-end hydraulic solutions from CAD-based design through to on-site commissioning.
Its capability includes the design and manufacture of bespoke hydraulic systems, including power units and manifold assemblies tailored to specific operating and environmental conditions.
Integrated service model
Fremantle Hydraulics also provides maintenance and repair services for pumps, valves and cylinders.
The company also offers specialist testing capability, including dyno testing and NATA-certified assessments and operates its in-house Nutcracker disassembly system to dismantle large or difficult hydraulic components.
AMI says the alliance will benefit its customers by providing a more integrated service model. The companies also say the alliance will enable joint capabilities for naval projects.
AMI says its experience in electronics, communications, safety, surveillance, steering and vessel systems is complemented by Fremantle Hydraulics’ mechanical and hydraulic capability.
The partnership continues AMI’s evolution from a marine specialist into a diversified technical solutions provider.
AMI is a wholesale distributor and service agent with a network of branches across Australasia.
